Projects
Our project portfolio encompasses the range of private and public sectors. We work for central government agencies, local authorities, developers and private clients throughout New Zealand. Our clients' objectives are wide and varied, however all have interests that depend on transportation, access, circulation and layout.
The projects we undertake are as diverse as those who commission them. They range from the complex planning needed to manage the transportation requirements of special events to planning consent applications for developments in urban and rural settings from North Cape to Bluff.
Our involvement ranges from retail and commercial projects, primary industry projects to leisure and recreation developments. Studies range from motorway planning, to the design of local streets, intersections, bus lanes, pedestrian crossings and cycle lanes.

Owairaka Christ the King Church
With the construction of the Mt Roskill section of the South-western Motorway in Auckland, the Catholic Church and the NZ Transport Agency negotiated the redevelopment of the Christ the King school and church site in Richardson Road to facilitate the new motorway alignment.
Bayswater Ferry Terminal
TDG was commissioned by Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA) to provide an Integrated Transport Assessment for the redevelopment of the Bayswater Ferry Terminal.
Wellington Regional Hospitals
The new Wellington Regional Hospital in Newtown, and the Kenepuru Community Hospital in Porirua have recently benefited from a substantial refurbishment. TDG has been involved throughout, providing advice during the strategic, planning, design and construction phases.
Geothermal Power Station
In this project, TDG was engaged to examine and assess the traffic planning effects arising from a proposal to establish a 235 megawatt geothermal power station near Lake Taupo.
Napier Hill
TDG has been retained by Napier City Council to confirm the current traffic and transport related conditions on Napier Hill to assist with the development of new rules and objectives for land development within the Napier Hill Character Zone.
