TRANSYT

TRANSYT is a comprehensive modelling package for determining and studying optimum fixed-time co-ordinated traffic signal timings in any network of roads or at signalised roundabouts.

Developed by the UK's TRL (Transport Research Laboratory), TRANSYT is used around the world demonstrating its robustness and flexibility as a design and network optimisation tool. The latest version, TRANSYT 13 is the first truly graphical version of TRANSYT issued by TRL and as a result offers vastly improved results interpretation as well as providing better modelling choice.
