TDG are delighted to announce a visit from Alex Torday of TSS, Spain in early December. TSS are the developers of one of the industry-leading microsimulation modelling software packages, Aimsun.

Alex will be taking some of our senior modellers through the advances in the software which accompanied the release of Version 7. Most significant in this new release is the hybrid assignment methodology which TSS have pioneered.

For the uninitiated, hybrid assignment helps you to analyse two levels of detail within one model – so for example you can look at coarse routing behaviour across a city network while focusing on the detailed routing behaviour associated with a shopping development or infrastructure improvement scheme – both in the same model.

Alex’s visit continues our commitment to offer the most progressive and comprehensive source of transport modelling expertise in NZ. For more information on how we can help achieve real-world solutions for you please contact us.
